Maren Mooney is Legal and Claims Manager for Orascom Construction USA, Inc. and its affiliate companies The Weitz Company, Contrack Watts, Inc., and Watts Constructors, LLC, a full-service general contractor, design-builder, and construction manager with expertise in commercial, federal, and industrial construction projects. Orascom Construction USA has offices throughout the United States.
Maren has worked in the construction industry since 2009. She started with the company in the role of Legal Administrator and has worked her way up to her current position as Claims Manager. She works closely with Weitz’ general counsel and risk manager to develop and implement claims management standards, forms, and workflow to ensure all claims are consistently and properly managed. Maren is responsible for managing claims for all US operations.
Maren has a Master of Jurisprudence in Compliance and Risk Management, holds an insurance producer license in the state of Iowa for property and casualty lines and a Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS) certification from IRMI. She has also obtained the Certified Litigation Management Professional (CLMP) and Certified Claims Professional (CCP) designations through the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance (CLM).
