Risk managers, carriers, vendor partners and other public entity professionals came together at the SC PRIMA conference, February 26 – 28, in beautiful Greenville, SC, to discuss emerging issues and trends in the state and beyond.
Alliant’s Julie Waller, Sr. Risk Control Consultant, and Client Advisor, Keith Brown attended the conference and hosted a wonderful client dinner at Soby’s Restaurant on Main street in the heart of Downtown Greenville. Thank you to all who attended!
Subjects presented at the conference included:

- Public Entity budgeting – risk and insurance allocations
- Is your safety program measuring up?
- Workers’ compensation cause and effect
- Active shooter/intruder training
- Five focus areas to improve risk management and operability for education and government campuses
The conference was well attended, and participants were engaged in the discussions of these topics, which are relatable issues for every public entity in today’s environment. Next year’s SC PRIMA conference will be held at the Sonesta Resort on Hilton Head Island, SC. Mark your calendars to enjoy this beautiful venue, March 3-5, 2024.
