Sarah Vance is the Risk Management Supervisor for Gonsalves & Santucci, Inc., dba Conco Construction, and is a certified Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS®). Sarah joined Conco in 2016 as an insurance administrator and was promoted to Risk Management Supervisor in 2018. Since assuming her current role, Sarah has restructured claims management within the organization and implemented policy and procedure changes to better serve employees under workers’ compensation coverage and streamline the claims process across all lines of coverage.
Sarah works closely with Conco’s general counsel and safety and operations managers to implement mitigation measures to reduce safety and legal exposures. Beyond her claims management responsibilities, Sarah is tasked with ensuring the company’s overall insurance program meets the needs and risks that are inherent to its day-to-day operations.
Sarah joined the construction industry in 2009 working as a home warranty representative for a residential contractor. After spending four years in customer service, she moved to the commercial side and worked as a project administrator for a Sacramento-based firm for two years until joining Conco.
Outside of work, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
